Now that we have introduced to you our ProHealth Institute and the most important preventive medical and early detection examinations, you will surely want to know how your day with us looks in concrete terms. We would therefore like to show you a typical day at ProHealth in the course of which we examine you through and through and you gain a comprehensive picture about yourself and your body.

Naturally the course of the day and the examinations will be matched to you individually.

Cordial welcome at ProHealth! In an admission consultation with the specialist who accompanies, looks after and advises you in the course of the day, your lifestyle, your personal case history and the conditions running in your family will be discussed on the basis of a questionnaire so that an examination programme matched specially to your requirements can be prepared.

So that you can strengthen yourself as soon as possible with a small breakfast, samples of blood, urine and faeces are now taken and the first risk factors, tumour markers and organ functions are determined within the scope of an extensive laboratory analysis.

9:15

In the course of magnetic resonance tomography and, if required, a computed tomography examination, your skull, your neck vessels and lungs, the upper abdomen and the pelvis are examined. We also produce a 3D vascular display of your body.

Time for a break. You enjoy a cup of coffee and a small snack in the Villa Mersmann or the cafe of the Mathias Spital, or you take a walk in the park of the Mathias Spital.

In the course of a cardiological examination with cardiac ultrasound, resting and exercise ECG, possible supplementary ultrasound examinations and a lung function test, we produce a comprehensive profile of possible risks or diseases of your heart and lungs.

Time to review the discussions and examinations of the morning while lunching in the Villa Mersmann, to relax in the cafe or in the bistro of the Mathias Spital or to take a short walk in the park.

13:00

Further examinations such as skin cancer screening, urological and gynaecological examinations, hearing and eye tests are performed according to your risk profile.

In a detailed concluding consultation we explain to you all examination results in an understandable manner and undertake with you a virtual journey through your body. We take time for your questions and wishes and give you recommendations for your way of living or possibly necessary medical measures on the basis of the results of the examinations. Naturally you receive detailed documentation of all examination results from us for your personal use and for passing on to your own doctors.
