ProHealth CardioCheck
The CardioCheck examination programme consists of comprehensive cardiological examinations that are able to acquire or to exclude significant cardiovascular diseases.
The ProHealth CardioCheck contains:
- Anamnesis (inquiring the case history) and physical examination by a specialist in internal medicine and cardiology
- Resting ECG
- Exercise ECG with analysis
- of the cardiac rhythm
- of the blood pressure condition during exercise
- of the heart rate condition during exercise
- of possible cardiac dysrhythmia during exercise
- of the blood circulation reserve of the coronary vessels
- Spiroergometry (examination of the functional capacity of the cardiovascular system under stress)
- Colour Doppler echocardiography (cardiac ultrasound)
- Colour duplex sonography of the arterial brain-supplying vessels (ultrasound of the neck vessels)
- Lung function test
- Body composition analysis (determination of the relative body fat percentage)
- Determination of the body mass index (measure for estimating overweight)
- Laboratory analysis of blood, urine and faeces
- PROCAM risk score (determination of the individual risk of a heart attack)
The results of these comprehensive examinations are displayed to you in a detailed concluding consultation with pictorial demonstration of the acquired examination findings.
At the end of the concluding consultation you will be handed a findings folder which contains both the complete results of your examinations and also individual recommendations for your lifestyle and possible further therapeutic measures.
