Magnetic resonance tomography of the head-neck vessels
Pathological vascular lesions and constrictions as well as aneurysms (pathological dilatation) can be discovered early on by three-dimensional angiography of the head-neck vessels with the aid of magnetic resonance tomography. This examination facilitates significantly more accurate assessment of the head and neck vessels than the conventional method of ultrasound. Thus a possible risk of a stroke can be detected early on.
