Ultra low dose computed tomography of the lungs

ProHealth recommends this examination to smokers or patients with abnormal changes of the pulmonary tissue. In this way structural changes of the pulmonary framework (pulmonary fibrosis, pulmonary emphysema, scars, tuberculosis, lymph node enlargement, inflammations, tumours) can be detected.

For non-smokers and persons with healthy lungs we recommend magnetic resonance tomography of the lungs that enables an assessment of the lung structures without radiation.
